Hi, I'm Chelsea.

As a kid, I never really enjoyed getting my picture taken. In fact, it was always a dreaded time that got in the way of what I was doing [playing of course]. However, all of this changed when I turned ten years old and my grandpa passed away. I remember this particular milestone in my life because weeks before, when we visited my grandparents, my mom had my sister and I stop what we were doing to get a photo with our grandpa. She snapped the shot; it ended up being a great photo of my grandpa and sister smiling ear to ear, but had me on the other side of them pouting, like a stubborn kid. Little did I know, this would be my last photo with my grandpa. That specific moment changed my entire attitude for photography.

Since then, I have smiled for every single photo. In fact, as years passed, photography began to grow on me and I actually started to form a loving relationship with it. My love for outdoor, family lifestyle photography has grown even more since our daughter was born. To this day, I cherish every single photo and get even more excited to share these photos with others. I do not want our daughter [and future children] to grow up dreading the idea of capturing these special moments like I did. Which leads me to why I decided to take a leap of faith and begin capturing momentous occasions in others’ lives, in hopes that they too will smile and cherish these memories for a lifetime.
